My dear friend Kellie sent me a cheerful shot of her and her daughter the day I was asked to illustrate a story about how being grateful for our blessings makes us happy. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use her in the painting, so I
asked her to take a second picture of herself writing her blessings in her journal. She got me the photos that same day! Kellie is such a sweetheart, and her daughter is adorable! Hopefully I did them justice in these paintings.
